Historic Haciendas of Mexico

Join architecture expert Luis Fernando Rodríguez on this unique journey into Mexico’s colonial heartland, featuring accommodations in three historic haciendas, and experience the country’s rich indigenous heritage, ornate churches and monuments, and fine arts and crafts. Visit Oaxtepec’s 16th-century monastery and convent and Yecapixtla’s monastery with its stunning Gothic pulpit. Stop in Tlayacapan to visit the remains of Hacienda Pantitlan before continuing to Hacienda Vista Hermosa. Visit the archaeological complex of Xochicalco with its Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent. In Taxco, explore the former mining hacienda of El Chorrillo, and visit Santa Prisca Cathedral and Plaza Borda. Continue to Cuernavaca and the Hacienda de Cortes; then visit the Hacienda la Noria’s Dolores Olmedo Museum.
