The Art Institute of Chicago
Oak Park/River Forest

In 1954, the Oak Park-River Forest Community Associates was formed to serve the communities of Oak Park and River Forest. Oak Park-River Forest Associates became the second suburban group to affiliate with the Art Institute of Chicago and today has an active membership of approximately 200.

Among the creative programs presented annually are image-illustrated lectures at the Art Institute, which focus on both the current exhibitions and the permanent museum collection. Also sponsored are an opening coffee, a spring luncheon, multiple day trips, and most recently, an extended tour to art venues in other states. All programs are coordinated through the Art Institute.

Members reside in the following zip codes: 60305, 60302, 60301, 60126, 60304, 60707, 60546, 60523, 60521, and 60527.
