Who We Are

The Evening Associates are a group of Art Institute members, mainly young professionals, who gather about once a month to enjoy a lively mix of art and entertainment. Evening Associates enjoy exclusive museum gatherings, gallery walks, black-tie affairs, and other "after-five" events throughout Chicago, reveling in the city's vibrant art and social scene.

The Evening Associates Board is committed to increasing awareness of art and the resources of the Art Institute by raising funds for audience development programming.

During the fall of 2006, the Evening Associates Board was the lead sponsor of So the Story Goes: Photographs by Tina Barney, Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Nan Goldin, Sally Mann, and Larry Sultan exhibition. In addition they organized a party called "What's Your Story?" to help celebrate this amazing photography exhibition.
