FAQs

FAQsWho are the Evening Associates?
The Evening Associates are a cosmopolitan group of professionals. They host roughly 10 events annually including exhibition tours and private, behind-the-scenes opportunities at the museum—all with the added benefit of an evening cocktail hour. Evening Associates comprise a diverse group of Chicagoans who all share a common interest: celebrating the arts through after-hours programming.

How will I hear from Evening Associates?
Most of our correspondence will come to you via e-mail from eveningassociates@artic.edu. Make sure that we have your current e-mail address so you are the first to know about our event schedule or updates. If you do not have an e-mail address, not to worry: we mail quarterly letters using the Postal Service that include our events and updates.

How do I include my spouse or partner in my membership purchase?
Choose a membership level that includes a partner/spouse (e.g. not the Member or Student levels) then select the Dual Evening Associate option. Be sure to complete the spouse/partner information.

What if I select a two-year base membership?
You will then need to select a two-year Evening Associate membership.

What are the benefits of an Evening Associate membership?
In addition to the museum membership benefits, Evening Associates enjoy:

  • Invitations to exclusive private receptions in the museum
  • Invitations to special events throughout the city
  • Select lectures
  • Exhibition tours
  • Regular e-mail updates regarding Evening Associate activities and news
  • Connecting with fellow art-inspired young professionals
