On-line finding aids to the institutional archival collections of The Art Institute of Chicago are thus far only available for a small fraction of the holdings. The represented collections are described in a history note and a scope and content note. Container listings with folder level indices are currently prepared for future release in EAD (Encoded Archival Description) format.
