Museum Hours
Monday–Wednesday, 10:30–5:00
Thursday, 10:30–8:00 
(Free 5:00–8:00)
Friday, 10:30–5:00
Saturday–Sunday, 10:00–5:00

Remember, admission to the Ryan Education Center is always free! Admission to the museum is free for kids under 14.

Museum Passport

At the Chicago Public Libraries, you can request a Kraft Great Kids Museum Passport good for free family admission to the Art Institute. It's just like checking out a book, so don't forget to return it after you visit!
Ryan Education Center

The Ryan Education Center is always free. Make art, read picture books, see family exhibitions, or learn about art through interactive stories and games.
