Title: Collection Information Access Intern

Department: Museum Technology

Duties/Responsibilities: Work with Museum Technology staff and curators to prepare images and artwork information for the Art Institute’s collections website. Assist with new technology initiatives and help conduct research into museum website, image, and metadata best practices.

Required Qualifications/Skills: Must be organized and extremely detail-oriented. Some art history background preferred. Coursework or experience with museum practices and/or technology a plus. MLS students and/or recent graduates encouraged to apply.

Length of Program: 15 weeks (semester), with possibility for extension

Compensation: Unpaid

College Credit: Available

Hours: 10-15 hours per week
