General Information:
All requests are subject to review and approval. Based on your project or publication, we may require more information once your request has been submitted. Advance payment is required—please allow a minimum of 2–3 weeks for processing after receipt of the signed contract along with full payment. Requests for 10 or more images may require additional time for processing.
Some works in our collection have not been photographed. In these cases, new photography of the work can be arranged pending the approval of the curator. Please allow additional time for this service.
Photography of loan exhibitions is not permitted. Still photography of the permanent collection, taken in existing light, is permitted on condition that the photographs are for personal, non-commercial use. Flashes, tripods, and video cameras are prohibited.
Works of art appearing in the Images, although owned by the Museum, may be protected by copyright, publication rights or related interests that are not owned by the Museum. The Museum is not giving permission to exploit any third party rights. It is your responsibility to obtain whatever copyright or other permissions may be required from an artist, his agent, his estate or any other third party rights holder.

Research and Educational Use:
Image Licensing can provide a print, slide, or low-resolution digital file (JPG) of a work of art from our collection for scholarly or personal research, or for educational use in the classroom, including a thesis, dissertation, or other school-related paper.
Requests must include contact information (name, address, telephone, e-mail), and specify the image(s) requested.
These materials are for research and educational purposes only and are not intended for use in a publication, broadcast, or any other medium. Our Imaging Department utilizes premier direct digital capture and reproduction technologies to ensure the highest quality—our images accurately match the full range of tones and colors of the original artwork.
To obtain photographic materials for use as part of a publication, textbook, journal, television program, promotional campaign, or other project please review the following guidelines prior to submitting your request.

For all online projects, you must provide the Internet Address/URL and the duration your project will be available online.
We will provide you with one of the following for reproduction: 4x5 Duplicate Color Transparency (subject to availability), TIFF file on CD along with a color guide print, or a JPG by e-mail (b/w and web-ready images only).

To obtain a reproduction of a work of art from our collection for use in a product created for resale (non-publication), please contact Product Development.
Shipping and Payment Options:
We accept payment by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card), check/money order, or wire transfer.
We ship all orders standard U.S. Mail in flat, cardboard packs, unless otherwise specified.
U.S. Domestic First-Class (2-3 days): $5.00
U.S. Global Airmail for destinations outside of the U.S (4-7 days): $11.00
To arrange service with an alternate courier, please provide your account number when submitting your request. If you do not have an account with an alternate courier, but would like to request this option, we will add the estimated cost of shipping the package Fed-Ex Standard Overnight, or International Priority, to your invoice (the fee will vary by destination).
