The Capital of the 19th Century: Paris in Maps

Overview: Maps of Paris, drawn from the collection of the Art Institute’s Ryerson and Burnham Libraries, highlight urban planning and architectural and artistic developments in the “capital of the 19th century” between 1789 and 1914. This exhibition is on view Monday–Wednesday and Friday from 10:30 to 5:00, Thursdays from 10:30 to 8:00, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 5:00.
