All tours must be booked through the Student Tour Application Form. If you've successfully submitted the form online, you will receive a receipt code that will allow you to track the progress of your request. (If you do not receive an e-mail with a receipt code, your request did not go through; please resubmit the application form). Tour applications are usually processed within three to five business days. Tours are not finalized until you receive a second e-mail confirming your tour. Please print this confirmation form and bring it with you when your group comes to the museum for its tour. This is proof of your reservation. If for some reason a tour becomes unavailable during the application process, the Student Programs scheduling office will work with you to find alternative dates/times.

Three online application periods occur throughout the year for docent-led and teacher-led tours:

Fall tours (September 2011–January 29, 2012) open on July 15, 2011.
Spring tours (January 30–June 2012) open on December 15, 2011.
Summer tours (June–August 2012) open on March 15, 2012.

Please mark these dates in your calendars to ensure that you are able to sign up for the tour that you desire. Remember, the earlier you apply, the more likely you will be confirmed for the tour you want. If you sign up late, being flexible on date and tour type will help us schedule your group, especially if you are interested in a docent-led tour. Please note that these dates are subject to change.
