Illinois School Groups

Illinois school groups receive free admission for all students and the requisite number of chaperones when they apply for and receive a tour confirmation from the Student Tours office.

Non-Illinois School Groups

Pre-K–8th grade:

Through a generous gift from Target Corporation, all pre-K–8th grade out-of-state school groups receive free admission for students and the requisite number of chaperones when they apply for and receive a tour confirmation from the Student Tours office. Any chaperones in excess of the required number must pay the full admission rate of $18 per adult.

9th–12th grade:

Out-of-state high school groups receive a discounted admission rate for students ($8 per student) and the requisite number of chaperones (free) when they apply for and receive a tour confirmation from the Student Tours office. Any chaperones in excess of the required number must pay the full admission rate of $18 per adult.

NOTE: Groups that do not apply for and receive a confirmation for their museum visit will be charged the full rate of $12 per student and $18 per adult upon entering the museum. The museum policy of providing free admission to children under 14 does not apply to groups.
