The minimum number of students for a docent-led tour is 15. The maximum number of students per group is 90 plus the requisite number of chaperones per school per day, unless otherwise noted on the guided tour description page. We require one chaperone per 10 students for grades 3–12; one chaperone per six students for grades 1–2; and one chaperone per four students for Pre-K and kindergarten. Only the requisite number of chaperones may join the tour; extra adults may meet the group after completion of the docent-led tour. Please note that any extra adults entering the museum with student groups will be charged the full admission price. Teachers and chaperones are responsible for the students' conduct and compliance with museum policies.
