Narrative Paintings

During the final weeks of Teen Lab, students explored narrative art in the galleries of the Art Institute, keeping in mind the visual elements in each work of art. They thought about the structure of a story and how to visually produce it. After writing a narrative, they carefully recreated it on canvas. Their paintings can be seen below.
