Untitled: Teen Guide
In the fall of 2006, Teen Lab worked together to create the first ever teen-produced museum guide. The fourteen members of Teen Lab chose works of art from the museum’s collection to include in the guide and generated all of the content—written and visual. Download Untitled: Teen Guide, 2007.14 and bring it with you the next time you visit the museum.
Hear This

In spring 2007, Teen Lab members worked in small groups to write, record, and edit creative responses to works of art in the museum's collection.

Surrealist Experiments

Members of the spring 2007 Teen Lab explored Surrealism in the museum and made works of art based on techniques used by Surrealist artists.

Narrative Paintings

During the final weeks of Teen Lab, students explored narrative art in the galleries of the Art Institute, keeping in mind the visual elements in each work of art.
