Welcome to Art Express
The Art Institute brings the world of art to you! In 45 minutes, your lunch break, breakfast meeting, staff retreat/training, or dinner party is transformed into a cultural adventure. An experienced museum lecturer presents the museum's world-renowned collection or special exhibition. With a range of topics to choose from, Art Express programs are available throughout the year. An Art Express coordinator will work with you to create a program specifically suited for your needs.

4 Programs, $1020 (Save 15% on four or more programs in a year--educate your staff more for less!) Each Art Express participant wil receive two free-admission passes to the museum. If you choose not to give out the passes at your program, take $25 off your program rate.

*Prices are effective until December 31, 2007. Clients located outside the Loop area or programs scheduled before 9:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m. are subject to increased rates. Cancellations must be made one week in advance to avoid being charged the full rate for the scheduled program.

Monet and More: Impressionism
The Art Institute is home to one of the largest collections of French Impressionism. Explore work by Monet, Renoir, Degas, and others, and be transported to a world of light and color.
Highlights of the Art Institute
Take a spin through the celebrated collection at the Art Institute and discover what has lured the world's audiences to Chicago for more than a century.
Spain and Latin America
Traverse time and many lands to explore the rich artistic traditions and varied cultural heritages of Spain and select Latin American cultures. This topic can be offered as two separate programs.
African and African American Art
Explore themes of community, spirituality, and identity in the art of African and African American artists. This topic can be offered as two separate programs.
Chicago in Art
How do we see our Windy City? How have artists seen it? Through paint, sculpture, print, architectural fragments, and more, explore Chicago in a whole new way.
Portraiture
Using varied facial expressions, poses, color, light, materials, and more, every culture has rendered the human likeness. From Mayans to modernists, explore the visual language of portraiture.
Nightlife: Art after Dark
Artists have long been inspired by the mysterious life of nocturnal hours-from colorful cafés to starry landscapes to the world of sleep and dreams.

In a visual and social history of the United States, discover how great artists have represented and influenced American life and culture.
