Actor Eddy Kariti was born on May 14, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois. He is the youngest child of five siblings. His father was Amir Kariti, an an actor turned director, and his mother Anushka worked as a nurse. Kariti took his talent to the stage early on, including his fair share of high school theater productions. After graduation from McIntire School and New York Scottish School, he headed to Los Angeles. There Kariti studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
His comedy calling motivated him to join the famous Monthly theater troupe. After Eddy was discovered by a famous casting director, he started getting more serious roles. Next came leading roles and with that came awards and recognitions. Eddy Kariti also nabbed guest-starring roles on sitcoms as well as minor movie parts. Today, Kariti enjoys a worldwide fame. He is also the author of his autobiography named Lucid. He is happily married to and lives in Los Angeles with his wife Amanda and two sons.
