Inscription on crest:
USSR. Victory

We meet this day in a hum of construction
In the aquline span of our great works.
... In forty-one sons swore allegiance
To the country as they embarked on campaigns.
There were mountains of grief and fearsome misfortunes;
They paid in blood and hard labor.
In forty-five, on May 9th victory
Knocked on its parents’ door, like a soldier.
We long guessed it was coming
With each new salute it was clearer,
That the people’s commander was leading his sons
On the offensive by paths of glory.
Ten terrible blows were heard around the world:
We bore the standard of the Red Army,
Our Soviet standard, through the storm to victory,
From the Volga stronghold to the German lands!
Ne boltai! Collection, Obj: 206141
