The Liberation of Rome, TASS No. 1001, June 21, 1944

Stencil
1628 x 1260 mm
Now from Crimea, now from Rome –
The beaten enemy retreats.
With the noise of lies and a cloud of smoke
He covers his every step.

Who hasn’t heard the saying:
“All roads will lead to Rome?”
But we would like to now propose
To replace it with another.

The beast crawls to its lair.
Now, too, there is just one way.
All trails, all streets,
All roads lead to Berlin!
