Drizzle was made soon after Rauschenberg completed the monumental Booster series lithographs that were made using advanced equipment and techniques at Gemini G.E.L. workshop in Los Angeles. Returning to simpler procedures at ULAE, the artist created this print, which is notable for its delicacy of tone and imagery.
