About this artwork

From the Porch provides a glimpse of the Ox-Bow grounds as seen from the porch of the school’s famous inn and dining hall. This print was exhibited in the Fifty-Third Annual Exhibition by Artists of Chicago and Vicinity in 1949, where it won the Hope Hawley Degenhardt Memorial Prize.
