Silk, cotton, wool: plain weaves, some supplementary pile warps forming cut solid velvet, some printed with gold leaf; twill weave; and satin weaves, some with supplementary pile warps forming cut and uncut voided velvet, some with supplementary patterning wefts, some self-patterned, and some printed with gold leaf; pieced and appliquéd embroidered with silk, silk chenille, cotton, gold-colored-metal-strip, gold- and black-colored-metal-strip-wrapped cotton, and gold-leaf-over-lacquered-paper-strip-wrapped cotton in back, buttonhole, chain, detached chain, double feather, herringbone, knot, overcast, satin, single satin, sheaf, stem and straight stitches; couching and French knots; embellished with gilt-metal spangles; metal, jet, and glass beads; padded with cotton; backed with silk and cotton, satin weave; machine stitch quilted with silk thread
