Hammond has only recently begun to work at ULAE. Full House is only her second print at the workshop, and already it shows her mastery with the complex process of layering images. Hammond uses a large picture file of collected clippings to construct a picture that offers viewers many literary readings. Like Kiki Smith, she manipulates the clippings photographically, allowing each generation of the image to suggest new juxtapositions.
