Teacher Manual: Chicago: The City in Art: A Curriculum Guide for Teachers
This teacher manual is an extension of a project which began in 1995 with a group of teachers from Lane Technical High School. Chicago: City in Art was committed to the professional development of Chicago-area teachers and the preservation of the murals adorning the halls of Chicago Public Schools. This curriculum guide is intended to be a resource for all educators interested in better integrating art into classroom curriculum. It includes brief background information about the murals, lesson plans, and teacher resources. (©2000)
