Teacher Program Perpetual Glory: Medieval Islamic Ceramics from the Harvey B. Plotnick Collection
Learn more about Islam and its rich artistic traditions as we look at objects from the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Participants in this one-day workshop will study works featured in the special exhibition Perpetual Glory: Medieval Islamic Ceramics from the Harvey B. Plotnick Collection as well as objects in the museum’s collection. Through gallery activities and discussion teachers will learn how to incorporate Islamic art in their visual art, math, science, social studies, and language arts curricula.
