Teacher Program
This workshop will explore the exciting contemporary photography exhibition So the Story Goes, featuring photographers who document their own family dramas and life stories in their work. From the earliest Kodak cameras to the latest digital technology, photography has always been the perfect medium for recording one’s life. We will discuss how photographs can tell a story, and explore narrative techniques and creative writing activities that you can use to engage your students with works of art. Meets Illinois State Goals in Language Arts, Social Science, and Fine Arts.
